NBA 2005-2006 Trivia Challenge
Who knows the 2005-2006 season better, James or Steve? Adam is going to find out. And while we’re at it we’ll debate who deserves to win the NBA’s season-end awards. This may be the closest race ever for the MVP award. Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Elton Brand, Chauncey Billups and others have had great seasons and Adam makes a very strong case for yet another candidate - Jason Kidd. Plus Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year and all the others.
The NBA Playoff First Round Matchups are set!
Where will the upsets come from? What’s wrong with the NBA playoff seeding? How did the Clippers, the 6th seed in the West, end up with the homecourt advantage against the #3 seeded Denver Nuggets? 82 games are in the books, but none of that matters now - this is the playoffs!
Thanks for listening!
Steve
ps from Adam: thanks to Percy Allen and the Seattle Times for the final exam questions that I pretty much ripped off from his article.

Guys, great show as always. I listened about a week ago so I can’t remember exactly what you proposed for the new playoff format. I just had one problem with it. You suggested something like the baseball where only the division winners + 1 wild card make the playoffs from each conference. I have always disagreed with this in baseball because of the following scenario:
There’s team A, B, C, D, and E. Let’s say that team A, B, and C win their respective divisions. Team D wins the wild card with a better record then team E. However, team E has a better record than team A (they’re in different divisions). When this happens, team E never makes the playoffs even though it had a better record than one of the division winners.
This happens a good deal of time in baseball and I don’t see how it’s fair. I agree that sub 500 teams probably shouldn’t make the playoffs. And the seeding is obviously ludicrous (clippers and dallas deserve higher the 4 and 6 seeds). Anyway, just curious what your thoughts were on that. Keep up the good work.

hi NBA-fans
First of alla just wanna say that I love your show…
I wonder if anyone know how to get the playoffs game to you computer? Do you know if there is possible to buy the games and download to your computer somewhere.
or maybe someone know any good hub adress?
You see in Sweden there’s no interest at all for the NBA, and almost no possibility to get the games…

HI NBA Fans.
Realease another episode!!! I love your show as in the UK you don’t really hear anything about the NBA unless you watch the highlights at 3:00 in the morning (no way would my mum let me stay up that late im only 13) I think that the NBA should be broadcasted in England not just the USA as the english basketball league is pretty rubish.
Realease another episode!!!
